Spring Walks – BOOK NOW!

I’m delighted to say the first walks of the season are now live. Dates in May and beginning of June are up and bookable right now, with more to come. Whether you’re a returning face or joining for the first time, it’s going to be a wonderful season and I can’t wait to get back out on the streets with you all.

The first dates are live on Eventbrite. We have a great selection coming up including golden oldies – Rebels and Radicals and A Meander Around St Paul’s, as well as new ones – Fleet Street and East End: Arrivals and Assimilation. More dates and routes will be dropping soon. Subscribers, you loyal lovelies, will be the first to know, so make sure you’re signed up.

Here are some reviews from recent attendees.

Tim has a real talent for making you see history in the buildings and the streets, and for weaving a story together that spans centuries. It was also just great fun – one of the best things I ever have done in London.

Tim’s storytelling is vivid and full of personality, weaving fascinating historical facts with quirky anecdotes

Tim brought the area’s history to life with his incredible art of storytelling. I leant so much from the walk. Tim is a gifted story teller whose passion for London truly shines through and is infectious. He helps you see London through different eyes and helps you understand how the past influences the now.

REBELS AND RADICALS – Wednesday April 29th 11am, Sunday 31st May 11am

ST PAUL’S MEANDER – Friday May 1st 11am, Wednesday 27th 11am

FLEET STREET – Wednesday 6th May 11am, Saturday 16th May 11am

EAST END: ARRIVALS AND ASSIMILATION – Wednesday 3rd June 11am, Sunday 14th June 11am

The days are lengthening, the blossom is out, and London is doing what it does best: looking impossibly lovely. The pubs and restaurants are opening on to the streets, and hiding around every corner is something extraordinary, evocative and always interesting. There really is no better time of year to be out exploring. Even if you can’t make a walk with me just yet, I’d encourage everyone to lace up your shoes, pumps, boots, crocs, pick a street, a lane, a path you’ve never walked down, and see what you find. Be excellently curious.

As ever, thank you all for your enthusiasm, your kind messages, comments and support. This little community of history wanderers means a great deal to me, and I look forward to seeing many of you out on the streets very soon.

Until then, happy walking, keep exploring, you never know what you might find.

Happy walking,
Tim, The London Walker
